You have probably driven through, and never realized you were in Home Place. This small town (more like a large neighborhood) is located between Carmel and Indianapolis.

Established in 1832 as a farming community. It had a small school, church and cemetery. Today, it is a small residential area just a few blocks in each direction. With a tiny commercial district that is home to my company, Roundpeg.

Last night, instead of driving home, I walked through Downtown Homeplace, passed the auto repair shops, and the tax office. I paused to read the signs around the little Pleasant Grove Cemetery that is the one reminder of the way the town was almost 200 years ago.
