When it comes to watching magicians I am just a kid at heart.  I don’t want to see behind the curtain or figure out how the trick is done.  I just want to enjoy the moment as I am entertained and amazed.

For the most part Trigg delivers just the kind of magic show I enjoy. He is funny and sweet.  He is playful and charming with the audience.  And his tricks surprise you.  Just when you think you have it figured out there is a twist or a turn which leaves you appreciating this skill.

At the base of his magic is mastery of slight of hand. I loved watching him multiply the balls in his hands and inside the closed fist of his audience selected assistant.  The show is kid friendly without being juvenile.

My favorite routine comes near the end as he plays with balloons.  This is no simple balloon animal trick.  Instead it shows off his skill not only as a magician, but also a bit of dance and pantomime

It is a pleasant way to spend an hour.  It is well worth the short walk or ride from Mass Ave to the lovely Cook Theater.

If you are looking for something light hearted and fun check out Trigg ( with two g’s), he is Just Amazing at COOK THEATRE, INDIANA LANDMARKS  1201  Central Avenue, Indianapolis
