It was a beautiful night and we went for a walk through the wild flowers.   There were a few clouds in the sky, but they didn’t look nearly as ominous in real life as they do in this image.

Changing the exposure, to darken the background has become one of my favorite tricks to make the blue skies seem richer than they are.  In this case however, you have have the feeling I should be running for cover instead of snapping photos.

I also really like the angle of this image.  Holding my camera low and shooting up through the tall grasses gave a cool perspective to the picture.


I shot quite a few images of the grass at West Park that day, but this was Andy’s favorite, so it is the one which got added to my online photo album.
