It seems to happen overnight. Suddenly, I am not looking at beautiful flowers. My eyes are instead, drawn to the lovely shades of orange, yellow, gold and brown created by leaves, bits of earth peaking through as they fall to the ground. In this image, I tried to bring out one of the darker shades in the deck, and it brought out the blue undertones in the image. This isn’t how it really looked, but I loved the contrast with the leaves.
