The mayor and city planners in Carmel want us to believe this town on a prairie has some quaint areas. Instead of letting real ones develop, they build new structures and try to make them look old. Of course, a little photoshop work adds to the illusion. This is a bridge over a stream constructed to give a little character to the Monon Park.
If you squint, and look around the parking lots on a sunny fall day, it is kind of charming.
