April!

Some years it starts with an explosion of color.  Sometimes there is snow and often it unfolds slowly with a few more flowers each day. 

That is the kind of spring we are having, with little bits of color appearing in my yard every day.

Hyacinths bloom in midspring, filling the garden with a burst of pastel colors when most of the garden is just waking up.  This one white flower is putting in an appearance a little early as if to encourage the rest of the garden to catch up.
