The other night, I stepped back in time. Settling down for dinner with friends at the Jazz Kitchen we enjoyed a performance by Freddie Cole. Yes the last name should sound familiar, he is the brother of the late Nat King Cole.
Well in to his 80’s his voice is still strong, and wonderful to listen to. His smile is contagious, and he genuinely seems to enjoy what he is doing. I hadn’t expected to take photographs, so all I had with me was my iPhone. The picture was a little grainy, so I actually took it to black and white, and somehow, that seemed right.
