I  have never been a soft, fluffy kind of girl.   As a kid I was a bit of a Tom Boy and in my professional career, I enjoyed the time I spent in “guy industries”  like HVAC,  and Oil and Gas.

So, given my no frills style, it is kind of funny how much I enjoy photographing and painting  flowers, but I do.   What better way to cheer up the cold winter day then sharing one of my favorite flower photos.

This was taken at a flower stand on a street corner in Madrid.  It was a bit of a grey day, that was immediately brightened by the sea of colors.
