On a cold winter night, it is hard to find a more delicious way to warm up than to order a Tajine from the Saffron Cafe. These traditional Moroccan stews, are slow cooked in decorative conical ceramic pots.
The lids are both decorative and functional, capturing the steam and juices from to produce a tasty sauce perfect for dipping warm bread. Just looking at them lined up on the bar makes me hungry.
If you go, be sure to go hungry, the portions are large, and I took home enough for a second dinner.
