Every year, the town (city? ) of Zionsville holds a street festival. Main Street is closed to anything but foot traffic and artists and musicians set up along the street.
The styles of art and music and the age of the artists vary widely. These two brothers were playing were playing a series of Irish drinking songs and just a few blocks away was a group of singers in period dress. Even further down the street was a singer doing a great impersonation of Jimmy Buffet.
This is a performance art fair, so even the painters and sculptures are working on the street. It is so much fun to see the works created before your eyes.
And the last bit of art was dinner, a simple but tasty meal at G. Simon’s Cafe and Wine Cellar.
