I was trying to find an interesting angle or perspective for a pretty bunch of flowers I came across on my walk to the office. I shot a number of pictures, and they were all pretty, but ordinary.
Then I remembered Paul’s advice, and I actually stepped back, and let my lens zoom in.In the bright sunshine I couldn’t make out the fine details of the image, but I saved it with plans to take a closer look when I got home. Boy am I glad I did.
The original image was a fairly ordinary cluster of flowers, but when I looked at the image on a large screen I could see the dragonfly very clearly. I always size the images down before I upload them to this site. (If I didn’t they would take forever to load and view.)
Instead of re sizing, I cropped the image in very close to show off the hidden gem in the picture.
