There is something about the first Friday Night of spring, when it is suddenly nice enough to eat outside and people watch. And there is no better place than Mass. Ave.
And last night, the Avenue was alive! With the remainder of the folks from the St. Patricks Day parade, there was a lot of green on the street. And since today is the actual holiday, I expect there will be more tonight as well.
It was also the opening of the DivaFest at the Indy Fringe theater. DivaFest features the original works of six women play writes. Each performance is only one hour, so it is easy to grab dinner and a show and still enjoy a bit of the Avenue.
The weather is going to be terrific for the next few days, so get out and enjoy it. Take a walk on the cultural trail into Mass Ave and see what the city has to offer.
