In Garfield Park there is a lovely promenade called the Sunken Garden. Serene and well manicured, it is a beautiful spot for a wedding, or a photography session. We wandered into the gardens, and it was obvious they had just planted the fall plants.
I loved the plumed cockscomb flowers which look like an airy, feather duster. They were planted in neat rows and arrangements around the fountains in the garden.
Playing with photoshop,I increased the contrast and saturation, but took the vibrancy down to give more drama to the flower colors and mute out the background a bit.
