If I asked you where the largest Synagogue in Europe and the second largest in the world, capable of accommodating 3,000 people was located would you have guessed Budapest?
Well it is. Built between 1854 and 1859 in Moorish Revival or Neo-Moorish style it is one of the most beautiful synagoues I have every seen.
