Dublin is filled with churches, really old churches. Many are still operating while others are being re-purposed and used as schools, libraries and even entertainment venues.
The oldest of them all in Dublin is Christ Church, founded in 1092 and still in operation today. Over the years it has been added on to and remodeled, but many of the sections date back hundreds of years.
