I was only 23 when I went on my first real business trip, to Chicago and I fell in love with the city.
It wasn’t because I was a small town girl in the big city for the first time. I was grew up in New York City and was living in Dallas at the time. But there was something about Chicago.
I loved the way the city felt as I walked down the street. And, and after living in Dallas for two years, I enjoyed just walking down an urban street. I loved mixture of big city bustle and mid west charm, the contrast of new and old architecture. I loved the way the city is built around the river and along the edge of a lake. I loved Chicago.
