Hiking and Waterfalls

After months of walking the paths in my neighborhood,it was nice to get out and walk somewhere else.  Cataract Falls is just a little over an hour away, but it is different world.

With an easy hiking path from the upper to the lower falls, it is a great way to spend an afternoon. And depending on how much rain there has been, you can even walk down along the river bed., wad across the rushing streams to cool off.

Yes, This is Indiana

It is always surprising to find something so pretty and peaceful, just outside of Indianapolis.  But the falls are spectacular from above and below.
