On a cold Sunday, I was surprised to find a large number of ducks and geese along the shore of the canal in Broad Ripple. Then I noticed how many people had come out to feed the birds, despite the cold weather.
Used to the attention of people, the birds wander up to see if you have anything for them to eat. If you don’t, they will pose, and then wander away.
