In our backyard are two Flowering Crab Trees. We planted them as seedlings a few years ago, and they have grown slowly, but steadily every year.
I love them in the spring as their white blossoms announce the beginning of warmer weather. Then as summer slips into fall, the trees are covered with these inedible red berries signaling that cooler weather is around the corner.
