The skyline is magnificent from many angles, but I have to admit this is one of my favorite views. This photo was taken from the window of the Staten Island Ferry as we approached Battery Park.
As a kid, you could stand on the deck and take a much better image, but safety concerns have caused the Ferry operators to add ropes and cables to keep us back. So I had to lean out the window which caused a bit of a strange angle in the image.
