One of our annual 4th of July traditions is the softball game between the north and south side of the neighborhood.
Once an all adult game, today it is a mixture of kids and parents who play. The hitting is better than the catching, so it gives the runners a chance to get on base.
This is my son as he hit the ball. I don’t remember what happened with the rest of the play, but the swing was magnificent.
