One of my favorite stops on First Friday is the Harrison Art Center. Located in an old church, the building has narrow hallways, and small studios filled with great work by local artists. There are always a few big shows in the larger galleries, but if you drop by, don’t stop there. Take the time to wander the corridors of the huge building because there is art around every corner.
Also located in this building is the City Gallery which uses arts & culture to tell the story of Indy’s urban neighborhoods. The mission? To make urban Indy a better place to live.
