It was a lot of fun. some really well thought out ideas. Most of the plans are just academic exercises for the kids, but a few do become businesses. This years' winner, Island IceCream, my favorite all around has a really good shot. I hooked him up with a bank that can give him a micro loan if he really wants to make it happen.

If you are interested, I can hook you up with the organizer. She is always looking for more judges.

That's a great way to give back and help young adults get a good start. What is the award for the best business plan? Have you seen local business pick up any plans and help nurture /grow the business?
