Price Does Not Always Equal Value

What is the right price for your product or service? Most small business owners struggle with this question, because they confuse the cost of producing the product with the value it brings to the customer.   When it comes to establishing a price for your goods or services, the value of your product has absolutely nothing to do with production cost. Alexa Rankings

We have been running a little experiment since the firs of the year to drive our Alexa ranking down.  So far we have dropped from 7.7 million to 2.9 million.  Our goal: under a million by June 1.

Why?  An Alexa ranking is a comparative assessment of your website to all websites worldwide.  Google is # 1, Facebook #2.  ..

So the lower the number, the more traffic, search rankings, cross references, etc.

So this jump is significant.. now our goal is to keep it up.

“What’s the Difference between a Marketing Coach and a Marketing Consultant

Here is an analogy that illustrates the difference between a coach and a consultant:  A business coach will help you understand how and why you bake a cake, help you to determine what’s holding you back from baking a really good cake, and stand side by side  as you bake the cake.        A business consultant will explain why one cake mix is better than another, explain the best cake baking practices, and if necessary, bake the cake for you. While there is a need for both, at Roundpeg, we offer business consulting services.  While we are willing to cheer you on, we will show you how to be successful as well.
